Garment Care
How should I clean my latex garments?
Handwash only. Do not machine wash, dry clean, or use soap powder.
How should I store my latex garments?
Always keep latex away from heat and daylight—especially direct sunlight. Store on a plastic or wooden hanger inside a garment bag (ideally black polythene plastic) in a cool, dark wardrobe.
Should latex come into contact with metals?
Oils may permanently stain or otherwise damage latex so keep away from greasy fingers, baby oil, oil-based moisturizers and bronzing agent make ups.
Can oils damage latex?
Yes. Oils can permanently stain or weaken latex. Avoid greasy fingers, baby oil, oil-based moisturizers, and oil-based make-up.
How can I make my latex shiny?
Use a silicone spray or silicone-based polish to achieve a glossy finish.
Can I store light and dark latex together?
No. Darker or stronger colors may stain lighter latex. Always store them separately.
Why does my garment look matte and have a talcy covering when it arrives?
All garments are shipped with a matte finish and a talcy covering. This helps seal the glue, protect the latex, and keep the garment in the best condition while folded during shipping. Some people prefer the matte look, but if you’d like a glossy shine (like in our photos), you can polish your latex using a silicone spray or silicone polish. Use a lint-free cloth for polish (best when the garment is flat) or apply spray while wearing the garment.
Do I need to use talcum powder or lubricant before wearing latex?
Yes, we recommend applying talcum powder or a silicone-based lubricant inside your latex before putting it on. This reduces friction and prevents rips. Lubricant is especially helpful for transparent latex and tighter-fitting garments.
Should I re-talc my garment after wearing it?
Yes. Re-talc after each use to keep your garment clean and prevent it from sticking to itself during storage. Never store latex while moist, as this can cause sticking and possible tearing when unpeeling.
Is there anything special to know about printed latex?
Yes. Printed latex may wear over time, particularly in areas where the garment rubs against itself or other clothing (e.g., under the arms, handbags, or jackets). Take extra care when wearing printed pieces.

Can delivery ever take longer than 28 days?
